Jr. Associate – Asset Management


The Jr. Associate – Asset Management plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient performance of assets through governance adherence, financial oversight, and risk management. The role is responsible for facilitating leasing and project approvals, monitoring budgets, and contributing to the development & maintenance of robust underwriting models for real-time business performance tracking. Additionally, the incumbent supports asset performance delivery in line with business plans, while actively identifying and mitigating risks related to billing, collections, lease renewals, and insurance. By collaborating with key stakeholders, this role aids in the seamless execution of asset management strategies, ensuring long-term value creation.

Key responsibilities

Governance & Compliance:

  • Drive adherence to governance and review forums within the Asset Management entity.

Leasing & Project Approvals:

  • Facilitate and provide approvals for leasing and projects (including PMO processes). 

Budget Monitoring:

  • Track and monitor budgets to ensure financial control and cost efficiency.

Underwriting & Financial Modeling:

  • Develop robust underwriting models, including cash flow planning, to capture real-time business performance.

Asset Performance Management:

  • Ensure delivery of asset performance in alignment with business plans – including tracking performance against plan, and maintaining updated financial models for the assets

Risk Management & Mitigation:

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures for effective asset performance management, covering billing, collections, lease renewals, and insurance.

Educational Requirement and Work Experience

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field, preferably with a postgraduate qualification (MBA, CFA, or equivalent).

Years of experience: 

  • 2 – 4 years.

Work Experience Requirements: 

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in asset management, financial analysis, or real estate investment. 
  • Should have worked in a large Indian or multinational corporation with a dynamic and fast-paced environment and the highest levels of service delivery. 
  • Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and performance tracking preferred.
